A recent study has tried to explain the mechanism by which sesamin exerts its hypotensive effect.A previous study had shown that the metabolites of sesamin had in vitro destructive activity of free radicals. The researchers determined whether this antioxidant metabolites of sesamin modulate vascular tone and contributed to the anti hypertensive Slimera Garcinia Cambogia effect in vitro sesamin.
